Introduction of IPSHK
The Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong (the ‘IPSHK’) was first established in 1973 and was incorporated as a Limited by Guarantee (under Company Ordinance Chap.32) in February 1996. The main objectives of the Institute are to promote professionalism in the purchasing and supply disciplines and to bring into association those engaged in the professions for the advancement of study and practices in the purchasing and supply management functions.
Collaboration
IPSHK actively collaborates with universities and training institutions in Hong Kong to offer/endorse courses and programs in purchasing, supply chain management and related fields from certificate to master degree level.
Global Platform
Since 1975, IPSHK has been a Member Association of the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM) registered in Switzerland, which consists of 48 professional purchasing associations in 45 countries.
Sharing Knowledge
Through various kinds of conference, workshop and site visit activities offered by the Institute, members can gain invaluable insights and training opportunities to support and advance their career journeys.
