IPSHK EVENT

We have organized a visit to the newest and biggest warehouse of HKTV Mall in Tseung Kwai O on 14 June 2019. With a strong online platform and solid infrastructure, HKTV mall successfully attracts customers to its wide range of products, an automated pick & pack system that can effectively handle numerous orders, and also logistics & delivery. The visit aims to provide a brief introduction to the operations of HKTV Mall and its warehouse, which is equipped with advanced robotic and the automated pick & pack system, handles 30,000 products and processes more than 30,000 orders per day. HKTV Mall progresses towards Hong Kong “Online Shopping Mall” together with the joint efforts of its 2,000+ merchants.

Cyberport is managed by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited with the vision to become a main force in developing the digital tech industry and is committed to nurturing youth, start-ups and entrepreneurs to grow in the digital industry. In this visit, participants will gain insights into procurement and logistics related solutions developed by start-ups such as FinTech compliance, self-storage operations and B2B payment, and get to know in greater detail how Cyberport operates by visiting a famous computer technology developer and touring around Cyberport.

Past Event

We have organized a visit to Koon Chun (冠珍興記醬園) situated in Yuen Long, N.T. on 14 December 2018. Founded in1928, Koon Chun started their operation in Kowloon City before resettling in Yuen Long in 1968. They have been holding to their motto of “Made in Hong Kong” as proof of their persistence in quality and tradition. All Koon Chun sauces are manufactured using Canadian non-genetically-modified soy beans and by traditional Cantonese methods inherited over generations.
In this visit, participants will be able to tour around the production plant to appreciate:
 
• How sauces are produced;
• 3rd party logistics; and
• Import ingredients to support the daily operation.
