Visit to Koon Chun Hing Kee Soy & Sauce Factory Ltd. (冠珍興記醬園有限公司) on 14 December 2018 ( Friday)
We have organized a visit to Koon Chun (冠珍興記醬園) situated in Yuen Long, N.T. on 14 December 2018. Founded in1928, Koon Chun started their operation in Kowloon City before resettling in Yuen Long in 1968. They have been holding to their motto of “Made in Hong Kong” as proof of their persistence in quality and tradition. All Koon Chun sauces are manufactured using Canadian non-genetically-modified soy beans and by traditional Cantonese methods inherited over generations.
In this visit, participants will be able to tour around the production plant to appreciate:
• How sauces are produced;
• 3rd party logistics; and
• Import ingredients to support the daily operation.
